The purpose of a Stemming Plug is to delay the rapid expanding gasses on detonation as to concentrate the blast forward and outwards resulting in a 30 to 35% better blast and rock size. The SCT stemming plug is the only plug on the market that ranges from 30 mm to 42 mm.s
